Game Notes:
Humptulips River consists of two branches, the West Fork and the East Fork. The West Fork originates in the Olympic National Forest, near the southern boundary of Olympic National Park, and the East Fork originates nearby to the south, also within the National Forest; the two separated by the north end of Humptulips Ridge and the origin of the West Fork Wynooochee River. Both forks flow generally southwest, separated by Humptulips Ridge, which features peaks named Moonlight Dome and Stovepipe Mountain. The ridge ends near the town of, what else? Humptulips, where the two forks merge. The river never meets the Pacific Ocean, instead emptying into Grays Harbor, a bay where its waters mingle with those from the Chehalis and Wynoochee Rivers.
I've written your name next your secretly held Great Power. Please remember which it is, as in future, I most likely won't be doing that. Thanks for your indulgence.
Initial map shown below. Note that several units may be designated by the player with your first set of orders. This means the other players will not know whether you will be ordering an Army or a Fleet out of these spaces. Russia may build an Army or a Fleet on either St. Petersburg coast. Please remember to submit conditional summer retreats and conditional winter adjustments with your Spring 1901 orders.
