MAGGIE BROWN GARDEN NECKLACE AND EARRINGS

I now have the straight story on this bead. I thought it was my hearth witch Maggie Brown but Lora Tobias, who gave it to me a long time ago when I first started working on the Acorna books and introduced Jonas P. Becker, says that Mavis Smith had it up on her site as the "Space Junk" goddess. Becker, for those familiar with the series, is the CEO of "Becker Interplanetary Recycling and Salvage Corp. LTD." A space junkman in other words. So, according to Lora, Mavis likes my books so Lora got me to sign one she'd bought and sent it to Mavis to trade for the bead. Boy, did I make out like a bandit on that one! So thanks, Lora AND Mavis but I still think this is Maggie and not a junker. Anyway, I've had the bead for almost ten years. All the time I've been collecting beads I thought would serve to accent it and also scanning the magazines and bead books for a suitable setting. Finally I did come up with something and used quite a few of the flower, leaf, and floral Venetian beads I gathered for it. Full but not junky I think.
