I am fortunate enough to live near Artisans on Taylor, a gallery run by renowned lampwork bead artist (now branched out into other areas of bead and jewelry making) Andrea Guarino. I've bought several of Andi's beads over the years but she also carries beautiful beads by other artists. I bought two by this lady and have another one on layaway. I'm going to have to ask what her name is and get back to you on that, but I made it up as a Christmas present for my friend Charley, who is a Christmas freak. I bought the little red and white cane beads for her a long time ago and they were perfect to use in this spiral strap along with silver spacers and beads, clear beads with aurora borealis coating and red beads and Swarovski crystals both 4mm bicone and 3mm round. There are clear Swarobski AB bicones in 4mm in it too. I alternated between a clear AB core with a red spiral and a red core with a clear AB spiral in several different sizes and types of beads. The central bead itself is clear, with red and white striping at the top and bottom, and filled with lots of tiny seashells. It came already attached to the silver endcaps and wire loops so all I had to do was attach the tails of Power Pro left at the ends of my strap and weave them back into the necklace.

I used two more of the little canes, a couple of silver endcaps, 8 size 11 red silverlined seed beads, one red Swarovski 4mm crystal and three size 8 clear AB seed beads for the earrings.
