STORYTELLER LIBRARIAN
This is my first Storyteller design, which I designed and made for Judy Hulsey, who was at the time the librarian for an Indian school in Santa Fe and also a storyteller. As a writer, I am particularly fond of this image now very popular in Southwest Indian pottery and silver jewelry. Here the storyteller is reading to the children from a big book. The strap contains goldstone, turquoise, lapis, silver, and Swarovskis and once more I used Suzanne Cooper's technique from Second Look for the strap. The pattern is for sale at Copper Coyote Beads (PAT EAS 004) and Cindy's Crafts as a printed packet with earring pattern included and from Bead-Patterns.com as PDF #274.
