I've got some new friends! Sylvia, who owns my mom, is a 4th grade teacher at John Muir Elementary School. Mom used to go to school every day with her, so all the kids know her. Well, I found out they've been reading my web site and keeping track of my progress! Riggan contacted Sylvia, and they set it up so the kids and I can be pen pals! They're even going to try to make arrangements for me to go visit next year! I can't wait! In the meantime, the kids said it was O.K. if I shared their letters to me. It's been loads of fun for me, because the kids and I have a lot in common - they're busy learning how to be good people, just like I'm learning how to be a good dog. I'm excited about sharing experiences, and finding out how they deal with learning and growing up. For me, it's been fun, exciting, frustrating and scary, sometimes all at the same time! Is there really all that much difference between people and dogs? |
