TIME: OPEN 7 am to 9 pm daily.
(Closed Christmas,Thanksgiving and New Years Day)
DIRECTIONS: Follow Highway 104 from the Hood Canal Bridge. Exit RIGHT at Hwy. 19 (Port Townsend). Hwy. 19 becomes Hwy. 20 2.5 miles south of Port Townsend. Continue in to Port Townsend on the highway. Subway is on the left across from the ferry entrance at the stop light. Park your car in the lot on the right or on the street, after passing the ferry entrance. Walk across to Subway to register. Please no parking in the limited Subway lot. Restrooms available. Ask for the walk box.
You must drive to Fort Townsend State Park to begin this walk.
ROUTE: Fort Townsend State Park lies atop a 150-foot cliff, commanding a scenic view of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend Bay and the Cascade Mountains. Walk along the nature/hiking trails throughout this heavily wooded park, with its rich military history dating from pioneer days. Baby joggers possible, wheelchairs not recommended on both the 5 & 10 Km walks
