Am I the David Schroeder you're looking for?

I grew up in Sidney, Ohio.  Graduated SHS Class of 1973.

I went to Yale.  Graduated Class of 1977 in Pierson College.

I wrote home computer games in the 1980's, including Crisis Mountain and Dino Eggs.

Update November 2011

I am creating a series of Holiday & Celebration Games for HTML5 platforms.

I would like to see a straight-forward "arcade" financial model emerge on social networks.

(That is, simple game levels would always be free to play,

then you pay "a quarter" to play advanced or customized levels.)

I am working with a programmer in Luxembourg to revive

and re-imagine my 1980's game Dino Eggs for Xbox and PC/Steam.

Questions?  Interest?  Please see my contact information below.

Thanks!

I was author of several bestselling home computer games
in the 1980's, including:

CRISIS MOUNTAIN              DINO EGGS              SHORT CIRCUIT

...as well as sets of CHRISTMAS and BIRTHDAY games
published by Random House.

I'm now exploring the rebirth and revitalization of my games on contemporary devices and
networks.  I'm seeking people who may remember my games -- or who appreciate the feel of
classic platform games -- to help me shape these new releases.

I'm seeking:

Alpha and Beta game testers
Programmers with skills on contemporary platforms like iOS, Facebook, etc.
Game development teams or companies that might partner with me
